I just had to make a quick post and say that I went to see WICKED ON SATURDAY!!!!!! That's right ladies and gentlemen... It was fucking phenomenal. The cast wasn't the original cast, but lemme tell ya, it was PRETTY DAMN COMPERABLE!! Here's the rundown
Glinda ~ Understudy ~ Still fucking amazing!!
Elphie ~ Stephanie J. Block ~ FUCKING PHENOMENAL (Sarah she was unbelieveable!! And we thought she was great as Liza!!) Fun Fact ~ Stephanie originated the part of Elphie in the pre - broadway run of Wicked in San Fran. Didn't know THAT until I read through my program. No WONDER she was so fucking amazing.
Madame Morrible ~ Carol Kane ~ UNBELIEVEABLE! She was great!
The Wizard ~ David Garrison ~ Better known as the neighbor "Steve" from Married with Children. AMAZING! (Who knew?)
Can't wait to see it again!! It's here until JULY 31ST!!!!! JEALOUS!!!!!!!
