Dressed Up Ready To Roll
Wednesday night I went to the volley's meeting at the Herhsey Centre for the West 49 Canadian Open. It was cool they told us we get 'credentials' aka a nice glossy all access pass. nice! They also gave us a tour of the whole place a men's size medium t-shirt that says crew. It's a nice shirt cept it's friggin huge. After the meeting I decided to alter my shirt and take it from a men's medium to a youth medium. It was pretty easy to do. I tried it on and it fit alright and then I was dressed up and ready to roll.
So Thursday I wore my t-shirt to school to rep the comp, even though I'm sure no one knew what it was for. I just came home from the Dc Shoe Launch Party for the Canadian Open. It was at the Opera House with Bedouin Sound Clash, The Getaway, Flashlight Brown and The Mad Caddies. Oh and you know I rolled into the Opera House sporting my newly altered shirt. The show was good, I decieded to go so last minute. I left around 8 and that's when the show was supposed to start. I only missed the first band but I don't care. The Getaway was good, Flashlight Brown was my favourite and the Mad Caddies were okay.
I need sleep so I can get up tomorrow and throw on my West 49 Cdn Open t-shirt and get ready to roll to the Hershey Centre for 10am. It's gonna be a friggin good weekend.
