So the new Taking Back Sunday cd is pretty good. Oh and I really like Northstar too, thnx for the cd Sarah. I've beeen working the past four days, but I've got from tonight until Sunday afternoon off. But I have to make this stupid doll for a work sample, what have I gotten myself into? Work is boring so I'm stoked to have 2 days off, even though I had to book them off just so I wouldn't miss the skate demos. I think I might be done helping out at my aunt's work, they'd said they'd call me next week if the need me. So I'll either be working half of the week or the full week if they call me. If I keep up I might just get myself fired at my other job, which I'm thinking might not be a bad thing. Apparently I'm not supposed to give out names and phone numbers for district managers or yell at customers but I really don't care anymore. I'll probably quit by October sometime if I don't get another job or get myself fired before then.
Anyways my border is up on my wall, now I just have to hang everything back up on the walls. I also registered for school last week and I have four day weekends from Sept to Dec which is great. I'm only at school from Tues-Thurs but they're all long days. My classes seem intersting too so I'm looking forward to them, minus all the tests and homework.
Okay so two months ago I was in Cali at this time, and I'd like to be there now too if all of these things weren't happening in August. Here's what I'm doing for the next few weeks:
JULY 30: Underattack Tour at Hustler, Oakville.
(They just changed the start time from 3pm to 6pm)
JULY 31: Underattack Tour in Mississauga, location: unknown. (Supposedly at Hustler, but that not in Miss. and Hustler isn't even supposed to host any demos at all, their name just got added to the UA flyer and site.)
AUG 5: C1rca Demo in Woodbridge at Common Ground & Wheels on The Bus Cd Release Party at the 360. One of the guys from The Getway will be dj-ing punk music too.
AUG 7-9: Wakestock at Wasaga with Moneen, The Ataris & Andrew W.K. Underattack Demo at Wakestock too. (I dunno if I'm going to Wakestock or not but I sure want to)
AUG 7: Wheels On The Bus Cd Release Party at Raxx
AUG 14: Wapred Tour, Barrie
AUG 15: Family picnic, Cousins & Friends from Italy over
AUG 16: Finch at Opera House
AUG 16-17: Some time around this time before I go to Boston, see Kathleen before she leaves for Ottawa.
AUG 18-22: Going to Boston
AUG 21 & 22: Forum, Four Square, C1rca, C1 Denim, Jeenyus and Special Blend Sample Sale. www.fourstardist.ca for details.
SEP 16: Senses Fail @ elMocambo
SEP 18-19: AM Getting Paid Skate Comp in Montreal @ South Parc. (I really want to go down to Quebec for this from like the Fri night to Sunday night).
OCT 1-3: West 49 Skate Comp. Volunteering for the weekend.
