Christmas time again

Nov 28, 2007 01:09

Overall, I'd say I'm pretty content with mostly everything right now. Thanksgiving break was great, and I'm looking forward to Christmas break which is only three weeks away, which means the end of the semester is only three weeks away as well. I got a new phone over break, I love it, it is a sweeter Chocolate, and I couldn't be happier with it. My Christmas shopping is basically done, I just need to wrap, but there is still plenty of time for that. School is going hella good right now. Who would have ever thought I'd be saying that? Maybe studying is the key to passing classes in college. I'm pretty obsessed with Scrubs lately. Brittany and I have watched all the seasons on DVD and we are now on the last disk to season three. Now we have to wait awhile until we get to start on season seven, which is sadly the end of Scrubs on TV as we know it. Lately, I'm also into I Love New York and the Tila Tequila show on MTV. Good shit. There is a new winter collection Blue Moon out, so you can bet your ass I'll be getting that soon, and another amazing beer discovery, PBR bottled beer twelve packs are only six bucks. Best news to ever enter these ears. I bought this amazing Fergie poster at Walmart last Saturday, I'm in love with it. She is one of my new lust interests: Beyonce, Shakira, and last, but not least, Fergie. Lately I've been really into rice, just plain white rice. Things with my roommate have gotten somewhat better, there is a lot less tension in the room, and we even speak sometimes now; no conversation, but a simple "what's up" does the job. Brittany and I tie dyed shirts last night in the basement of my dorm, it was nice, and free, so better watch out for yours truly, the hippist hipster. Did I ever mention how much I love flannel shirts? And I am currently obsessing about a song called ABOUT YOU NOW by a British girl band called Sugababes. Makes me want to have a dance party in someone's hallway. I think I'm staying in West Lafayette this coming June and July to take a summer math class so I can finally get it out of the way. It's going to be weird not being in Elwood, and sometimes I have second thoughts about this up and coming choice. We'll see, I guess. One last insight for you readers, two books you need to go and read: "Native Son" and "Me Talk Pretty One Day," both are really great. Until my next venture into livejournal world- much love.
