Everything hurts. :< Had my wellness class today and she is really kicking our ass with this 1.5 mile thing. Apparently we get to do this every day in class until we can actually do the "real" pre-test on the 10th. I loathe it because we have to walk all the way to the soccer field (which takes about 10 minutes anyway) and then do our laps around there. Today she released us around 4:00PM and for some reason it took me 20 minutes to reach the main center of campus, so when I checked my phone I started freaking. I have an English class (Genre Studies, so riveting) at 4:30 and I still had to make my way to the main building and then take the elevator up.
But from today I have learned a few nuggets of knowledge, as follows:
1) Do not ever ever ever ever ever work out in Converse. They will jack your feets up so bad. From now on I'm just going to wear flats to campus and keep a pair of running shoes in my bag.
2) EAT A FULL MEAL BEFORE LEAVING THE HOUSE! I ate breakfast when I came home from my 9AM class, and as most people know, I don't really like breakfast and thusly ate a small portion. I told myself I should eat something more before leaving the house again at 12:45, but kind of ignored it because I was worried about the parking situation that I'd had earlier in the morning. Instead, I rush downstairs at 12:38 and shove a banana in my mouth. Naturally, by the time Wellness was over, I was starving and felt like my stomach was falling out of my ass.
Words to the wise, yo. Although, I am thinking about keeping a weight log here. Should I? I will never be hardcore into working out and dieting, but I would like to see if this is creating some change in me.
