so, I got the grades I expected and now have an overall GPA of 3.89, which means that I will either barely get a full scholarship, or that I will barely miss getting one, depending on where the cutoff is this year. But what the heck, c'est la vie, n'est-ce pas? As much as it might drive me up the wall to miss it by just .01, there are worse things in life. Still, I'm just really hoping the cutoff is 3.89 this year...
Yesterday I started at Dunkin' Donuts, incase I never mentioned it. I'm still working part-time at Market Basket, so this week I'm working a total of 55 hours. 40 at D&D, 15 at MB. The sad thing about working so many hours across two different places is that I don't get time and a half during those fifteen "extra" hours. Still, being busy is good. Whenever I get really busy, I'm shocked to rediscover how much I love it. Yesterday I trained at Dunkin Donuts from 6 to 10:20 in the morning, then I worked at Market Basket from 11:30 to 8. It was like 13 hours of work in one day. My feet hated me, but being that busy was kind of fun. I have three 13-hours work days next week. (days when I work 6 - 2 at D&D, and then 5 - 10 at MB). I guess it'll be interesting to see how they go... starting tomorrow.
