I came back to my place late sunday night, around 9. Doug surprisingly said that he wanted to come see me so it was nice to spend the night with him at my new place; it was really nice because I didn't want to be alone.
Monday, he drove me to class and he went back to his place. My first class was management accounting with one of my favorite professors. I'm getting really nervous about taking these classes because I want to do well, but I'm just scared that I won't. I forgot that in his classes we have homework due every day, at least the answers are posted online in case I don't feel like putting forth the effort. I really should though. Then I came back to my apartment for my two hour break which was perfect for eating lunch, relaxing, and slowly getting some kitchen stuff organized. Then I went back for my financial reporting and accounting class. It sounds like its going to be a bitch because he suggests we do 15 hours of homework a week. Sigh. He says we owe him our lives for the next 10 weeks. Oh the joy.
I called Doug on the way back and he headed over. We worked out together for awhile. He really pushed me hard with the weights, it was good though and he was really nice and helpful about it. My parents came over later to try and get some stuff organized for me. Unfortunately it didn't turn out too well. They got the cable hooked up for my bedroom but the other two tasks were a failure. They tried to hook up my new speakers, didn't work out. And we were going to put together my new beautiful coffee table but it was cracked and I guess I can't get another one for another week. Sigh. They were here until 9. Doug and I ended up staying up until midnight watching shows and just relaxing.
This morning he drove me to school again and I had BA 302 (I think) at 8. I wasn't as tired as I thought I would be. The professor remembers me so thats nice :) Im not looking forward to the group project. Then I had political science at 10 right afterwards with an asian professor. He seems really friendly and funny because of his korean accent. He doesn't speak the greatest english. We have a short paper due every week for that class, not really looking forward to that.
Doug met me on campus to help me with my books. My books were $513!! I think that's the most expensive they've been for a term. Came back and made lunch. Erin came over and I worked out while Erin watched and talked with me and I did weights with Doug and then he left. Kim came over later for awhile.
The rest of the night I spent with a short nap, some dinner, and lots of homework and reading and I'm still not done.
I'm not really looking forward to sleeping alone, I wish Doug was still here but I have to get used to being on my own. Its different but good for me.
