The First
Okay, okay, okay. Many moons have passed since I promised to start this journal but here I am. Now I finally had a chance to sit down and go online, it took me two freaking hours to pick out what layout style and colors I wanted (of course, I think that I could do a much better job designing my own). But I shant be angry. As you may, or may not know, I keep a non-virtual journal with which I use to blow off steam.
So yah. I'm in REEENO. And I still say NEH-VAH-DUH instead of the preferred NEH-VYEAH-DUH and Matt corrected me just yesterday by saying that the word, "Nevadian" doesn't exist (it's Nevadan). Even though the townies think I'm a stupid tourist, I'm having a great time out here. No humidity, no bugs and I'm faaaaar away from my mom. Remember how I thought my mom and I were going to finally get along? Yeah, that lasted less than a week. Of course she never spoke any words against my decision to move to Reno up until the very last moment. She decided explode and object to my move as she drove me to the airport (when I left NY for NV). thanks mom.
Now the good news: I have a job. I get paid a salary of $21000 a year, which is not that much, but more than i was expecting, plus I get tons of benefits (paid vacations, cheap health insurance, free dental, optical plans, free life insurance, and so much more). Also, I'm halfway done with my KAPLAN MCAT course, and already my score has jumped 5 points, which equates to a 20% jump in rank vs. other pre-meds. Pretty cool, bob.
Also living with Matty and Diesel is pretty cool. Diesel doesnt like to snuggle much, but he's so funny to play games with because he has such an imagination! Matty makes up for the snuggling defecit.
So... doo. I'm sure I'll write more later. Perhaps not until next weekend, or maybe my birthday (YAY!) but this will not be my only entry this month (ahem nattyclaire).
