i don;t know that he doesn't want to. i think the problem is more that he doesnt know HOW to. he's still so self absorbed even though he can't see it.
most of what i wrote here was a drastic over dramatization. i was kinda trying the words on for size to see if they fit. they don't really. i was just feeling frustrated i think.
