Note to self: wear thicker socks next time, dumbass

So I meant to go to the Co-Op today to buy mouthwash and flouride and sundry necessities; instead, I went antique window-shopping (well, shelf-shopping since I went inside) and bought postcards. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. On a warmer day I might have stayed out longer and run the errands as well, but my feet were going numb even in my thick leather boots and my stamina's not that great to start with.

Plus side: post-excursion hot chocolate!
Minus side: I really am trying to keep off/shed the winter pounds. Yeah, not helping.

I do know now where to get English porcelain if I want some, though. Maybe a little tray for my desk ... *ponders* ... but I can't really make those kinds of purchases until we've made the IKEA trip and gotten all my new furniture straightened out. I liked some of the faux-Tiffany desk lamps they had, too, but I didn't check to see whether they can be used with eco-friendly bulbs. Also, I want to like my new furniture since I'll be living here for at least another year and a half, but what if I fall totally in love with a hypothetical way cool lamp and can never find anything cool enough within my budget once I get back to the States? Oh, the quandaries.

I've stopped pushing myself so hard to make jewelry/icons/anything since I started working on my sleep schedule, which is good, because it's been headaches almost non stop. I have given up on the schedule of a few posts ago and am now going to bed at 2-3 and waking up at 9:30 until it sticks.

Seriously, this has to be the most boring entry in the history of ever.
