Infopost: suspension of scans_daily.
Some of you who read my lj are also scans_daily fans, and you may be wondering where the hell the comm's gone. Yes, it has been suspended. Yes, we the mods are looking into our options. In the meantime, we do have a few backups in place. Please check out my fellow mod schmevil's post on the subject for more details, and refer all questions there.
In case anyone's wondering, I'm teetering somewhere between, "Woe is me, that's five years of my life that just got obliterated," cold-blooded analysis of my and others' errors, and deep-set cynicism at cutting off one's nose to spite one's face. Once events have straightened themselves out to whatever extent they will, you'll be hearing from me about this again. I'm sure it'll all work out in the end.
