* Tony was playing basketball at school during gym yesterday, and rolled his right ankle (he did this 2-3 weeks ago, too). He cracked / clipped / chipped / whatever his tibia, and is now bed / couch-ridden. On the bright side, he gets his wisdom teeth removed on Friday, so he's got both at the same time.

When you've got two opening bands, and the show doesn't start until 10:30pm, you might want to limit those bands to shorter sets. O'Phil didn't go on until 1am, and probably played a shorter set than the Bishops or Softie. Nothing says "today might suck" like a 5:20am phone call to come open up the bakery after your boss locked himself out.

Nothing says "today might not suck" like waking up to your wife saying goodbye, along with those magic words every man wants to hear: "There's coffee on the stove."

I see plenty of t-shirts while walking around on campus. Greek organizations, high school shirts, tons of KU apparel, religious shirts, clever saying shirts, and band shirts of every genre and sub-genre (to say nothing of sub-sub-genres), but the one I saw today made me smile the most.

Seriously? A Lordi shirt? WOW.

I don't have to fire anyone, an advance galley of the Nothing Nice to Say collection is being overnighted to me, and I get paid today.
