Waiting for the mail

Jul 16, 2007 09:12

Seems all I ever do anymore is wait for mail.

I wait for cds that I've traded for on LaLa to show up at the house. I wait for checks to come in the mail for photos, reviews, and assorted other stuff. I check the mail room at the Union for KJHK mail so I can assure promo companies that I'm not swiping the discs to sell at Hastings.

Then there's the e-mail... always waiting to hear from record labels, promo companies, friends, editors, bands, etc., so on and so forth. It never ends.

Although, really, it's nice to have scads of cds, the occasional extra money, and interesting information come down the pipe. Could be worse, I suppose - there's always the times where NOTHING is on its way, and all I have to do is click refresh on FARK until some new story pops up.

randomness, boring ass grumbling
