I've been trying to find something like this:
It's taken me calling every store I could think of in Lawrence, browsing the aisles of bix box stores and craft stores, until finally Bob suggests I call one of the schools. I'd already tried KU, and they were not exactly helpful (you can't make a call directly to the anatomy department, as I guess they don't have a phone). I call Free State, talk to a physics teacher, and he finds me one of these:
I am going to go take pictures of it now, hopefully with natural lighting, and failing that, a pose that will make it look creepy as hell for the next installment of the Halloween mix over at Wayward Blog.
Yes, I wasted the better part of half a day tracking down something for a blog post. I set my standards too high with the first picture, and once I had the idea in my head for the second one, I had to do what I had to do.
