No, not the inauguration.
Sleep. Twelve hours of glorious, glorious sleep. I had plans to update the website, send out e-mails, make dinner, visit the Annex... not a goddamn single one of them happened. I got sideswiped with a sinus headache and chills, and crawled into bed around 3pm for what I thought would be a nice, calming nap. Aside from waking up and babbling at
the_lucky_nun about how I was sorry that I hadn't made dinner, I pretty much slept until my alarm went off for work this morning.
It actually had several benefits: I was not longer feeling sick, I was more alert and in a better mood than I'd been for weeks, and I had the energy to deal with the fact that one employee had a sick kid and another had to leave for class at 9:30am. However, being as how I'm only working three days this week and three days the next, the extra hours were pretty much a godsend. And I might be able to keep my eyes open when I have my first sociology class tonight at 7.
