Making my choice
When the professor has had a day marked as "no class" on the syllabus for the entire semester, and then retracts that two days beforehand, you get a little down.
When the self-same professor then indicates that she will not be taking attendance in class that day because of the late notice, but will be returning the papers you turned in a month prior, you waffle a little.
Then you realize that you've got two papers due in less than a month, and you've barely started them. It would be in your best interest to sit in your basement, listen to records, and research like a madman.
Still - I'm in scrub pants, t-shirt, and baggy sweater and listening to James Bond themes in a comfy chair instead of a Jane Eyre discussion, so that's something.
