My plate is quite full this week.
Today has been work, then running errands, doing laundry, and getting flyers made for my show. Tonight is hanging out on Wescoe Beach and running the station's Beach-n-Boulevard show (featuring Ad Astra Per Aspera, the Spook Lights, and Baby Birds Don't Drink Milk - it's free and starts at 7pm). Tomorrow? Training a DJ at 4am, getting the oil changed in the car, running to the Legends to replace a couple albums, and then making sure everything's kosher for the first day of classes.
Thursday is training another DJ at 9am, rushing to my first class, flyering for my show, getting the oil changed in the truck after class, and then home to get started on homework and make dinner.
Friday brings work, lunch with my brother, Jeremiah, and my aunt, shooting pictures of the Lawrence Busker Fest, and the return of
Sunglasses After Dark. Saturday is more Busker Fest shooting after Dominic and I cover
Little Red Radio.
the_lucky_nun will be heading to KC that evening with
corkwis and
massholecatlady (if they want to carpool and save some gas money) to see the Mighty Mighty Bosstones at the Crossroads.
Sunday is the Kansas State Picking and Fiddling Championships. Tony's competing in the mandolin category again, and that starts at noon in South Park, should anyone care to join us. After that is the Astrokitty post-kickball season BBQ, which will end early enough to allow me to come home, cull the Busker Fest pix, and get them to
rudeboyzach before passing out from maddening, delightfully amused exhaustion.
