Looooooooooooooong days
After a very easy day of work yesterday (despite the boss's lateness requiring some serious work on my end until he showed up an hour and two phone calls after he was supposed to), I came home and mowed the lawn. After that, I made banana cream and chocolate cream pies (from mixes and ready-made crusts - I am not ready with the whole custard and / or pie crust thing yet).
Then there was grilling... such grilling. I love our grill, the weather was perfect, and the Polish sausage was amazing. I grilled some catfish fillets we had in the freezer, too, so as to not waste a half bag of charcoal on just sausage. Those turned out flaky and tasty and will probably end up with some rice for dinner tomorrow.
There was a HUGE fight with Tony that I really am doing my best to block out. Suffice it to say, the_lucky_nun and I have made some decisions, and that was the last time it will be happening. We've had quite enough, and Tony needs to learn that his actions have consequences, no matter what he thinks otherwise.
Since I managed to get much accomplished yesterday, and tomorrow brings a full day of being productive, along with making a clean edit of the new Valient Thorr cd and trip to the fabric store today... I'm going over to the Annex tonight, watching Night of Champions, and damn the lack of sleep.
