To Whom It May Concern:
This is in regards to the attached letter, previously sent in 2006.
After sending this letter to you, I was told that Saturn of Kelowna were going to fix my vehicle out of their own pockets. I asked what would happen if I needed service again and was told that we would cross that bridge when we came to it.
Recently, my car has been acting up again. When I called the dealership in Kelowna, they suggested that I take the car to one of the fine Saab dealers. The closest one is almost 300 kilometres away, but isn’t open on weekends. In order to get service on a Saturday, I would have to travel to Victoria, Calgary, or Edmonton. Of course, this would be at my own expense.
I realize that an error was made in telling me that Saturn of Kelowna would be able to fix my car, but what I fail to see is why I should have to pay for it.
The costs incurred by needing to go out of town to have my car repaired by a SAAB dealership include all the usual travel expenses: accommodation, food, gas. I would have to take time off. If I go to Victoria, I have to pay for the ferry, which would be approximately $50.00 each way.
This is very inconvenient, as I have to organize all these things. I thought I was avoiding all these problems by ensuring that Saturn of Kelowna would be able to repair my car. As mentioned in my previous letter, this was a factor that influenced my decision to stay with GM product. As a result of this, I will not consider a GM product for any of my future vehicle purchases.
I am far more upset by the fact that nobody is willing or able to admit that an error was made, than the error itself. It is unacceptable.

And NOTHING came of it. I got a call saying that they couldn't do anything...that it was too late. ASSHOLES.
