Caiti, it's not tanning; it's taking your sun vitamins. Also, when I eventually get the Beatles Rockband we are playing. Before November 1st we should schedule you some puppy love time. And... long time no see, say hi to Brian for me.
First of all, I'm glad you're acknowledging that you're in a funk and allowing yourself to feel the emotions. I think it will help you recover in the long run.
I also feel like I get SAD, so I'm going to start committing to taking Vitamin D daily now through the winter months to see if that hopefully helps. I thankfully established a regular workout routine this spring with the C25K plan, so I hope to continue that at the gym once the weather is too cold to run outdoors as I have been in the mornings before work.
I hope you can find some time in the morning to work out. I really like working out before work. It helps me be more positive for the day, and the only thing I could be doing other than exercising is sleeping. I find I put it off if I try to exercise during a different part of the day. Plus, with my insane schedule this fall (M-W I have commitments after work, and once/month I also have a commitment on TH), it's the best time to keep the routine consistent.
Are you running the Monster Dash 5K next Saturday?

Also, do you still need to see Kryss for tattoo touch ups? I have lots more time now.
