We all miss rex....
So today i got investigated. The guy was very nice. Told hime everything i know. He asked about rex alot and how he was a manager. I had nothing but positive feedback to give. The man was a great manager. And i sat talking to jessica for awhile after. She said she had talked to rex and that it was sad. Rex called her this morning to say to remember to check the bins for water leaks when jessica told him, rex I got it. Rex said i know you did, and rex simply sighed in relief. Jessica told rex that me and victor keep praying that were gonna walk in and see him sitting at his desk soon and rex sounded very happy and at the same time sad with tears, saying tell them i miss them all. And that hit me in my heart. But the part that got me is jessica asked rex what he's gonna do now. And rex said i planned to retire soon but that golf n stuff kept him young, both body and mind. Body, he walked that park in the morning to see what needed fixing and he did rounds to keep him agile, as for mind, he's always doing paperwork and thinking about stuff. And he told jessica, now that i'm gone, i'm just another old man whose gonna wither away one day at a time. And that hit me. Like it made me realize that we all had it good. Despite rex's general manger duties. Most GM's would not take the time to joke around, or learn your name and simply and sincerely ask how your doing on a daily basis. Seriously, just within the last 2 days, gns has gone to hell and i'm considering putting in my two weeks tomorrow. I called mack but he didn't give me a call back yet. So i'm gonna hopefully talk to him tomorrow and figure things out. I will not work for ken. Thus far, myself and vero have gotten demoted from money cound priveleges and jessica and victor are the only ones allowed in there. Why? Jessica is a given. But vic because of his politics perhaps. Me and vero got into it with ken in a yell fest today because of it. Whhich ended simply with ken saying that's how things go. He's amde changes that needed no change. And i'm fed up. And i simply argued with ken for like an hour and it became heated. Simply put, that company was not run by ken, rex, lower office. It was ran by the management staff and our workers. We made that place run. And to get a slap in the face by ken simply because he's on a power trip of sorts is simply not for me. So far raquel has put in her 2 weeks as of today. Myself, jessica, vero, and mack have decided to give it 2 more weeks before we all put in our resignations. Mack and myself have been chatting almost everyday since it all went down and this all seems like a very bad nightmare. The last couple days have been hell, we'll see what happens....
