Shit went down at gns. We got robbed again losing a total of about 10 thousand this past saturday night. However, the saddest part of it all is the firing of mr. rex sessions. Rex was a good man despite him having to deligate authority as golf n stuff's general manager. Be it as it may, as a man, rex was sweet and caring. I enjoyed working under him and honestly felt so bad when i came in to work today and heard rex had been suspended possibily terminated over the situation. I'm not going into any details simply because there is still an investigation over everything and the situation is still up in the air. Basically we got robbed and the precautionary measures that rex was supposed to handle were not and thus lower office let him go and put a temporary intern general manager in his place until a new gm could be placed or decided on. Many people may not like rex but i see it as him having to fire employees is his job. He's never disrespected any of us and has made my last 4 years at gns good ones. He always asks how i'm doing, and underneath his title and the front of having to separate himself from the employees, as a person rex is a good man. And today at work felt odd knowing i won't see him at his desk in the mornings, or see him limping across the courses in that hat of his and hearing him say jesus what i tell you about those armbands, or i thought i told you to wipe that dirt off your chin, oh that's actually a goatee. He always went out of his way to get to know your name and joke around and now that he's gone, you kinda realize that he wasn't that bad of a guy. Who knows what will happen now. I hope everything goes good and that in a couple weeks i'll come into work and i'll see rex sitting there at his desk giving me that look and saying hello there kid, how's your day.
