I think Disney Princess's are princess's in spirit and personality, not by birth right.

And they didn't call them princess's, they called them heroines. XD

If they're heroines then their social status wouldn't matter. I'm talking about the Disney Princesses line, though. Mulan is counted as one of the 8 Disney Princess in the franchise (Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine and Pocahontas being the others). She's the only one I don't get. I mean even Jane deserves a spot because Tarzan's the King of the Jungle. XD Another "Princess" by marriage.

I've heard them called "Heroines" but I've never seen it on merchandise. Of course, I haven't been in a Disney store since they took it away from the only mall I frequent. XD
