Introducing: Maddy! She's officially going to be the first black Disney princess. Interesting plot... I can't wait to see how this movie turns out and who they cast. I can't wait to hear Randy Newman's score.
Of course I have to make a comment about this and it has to be beside the point. XD I work like that. Anyway, why do they count Mulan as a Disney princess when she is not?! She's not even CLOSE to being nobility. She's a soldier, and the child of landowners. In China sure, she would have come from a well-to-do family, but that wealth doesn't automatically equal royalty. She's not even royal by marriage (like Belle and Cinderella). If they count Mulan then they have to count Esmeralda and Meg (who would be more than royalty... she's demigoddess by marriage, I guess XD) Also, why don't they count the animal characters like Bambi and Simba? They're just as influential to the Walt Disney Company as the human characters. If that's the case then they'd have to add Faline and Nala to the "Princess" line--even though they're royal by the animal equivalent of marriage. XD
