no seriously all i do now is music, computers, or music and computers. I've been invited to do some research at recombinant media labs. This is a surround audio/video room with a 60,000 watt sound system that powers 8 subwoofers (located under the floor) as well as a surround array of speakers and video projectors. I am thriving in my new environ much like a lizard on a heated rock near a grilled cheese stand.
Remember that remake of the movie 'The Fly' where you expected it to be horrible but Jeff Goldblum made it a decent movie? Oh yeah and for some reason I think Geena Davis is really hot. Anyway, there's also that part where he gets his fly powers, like he can crawl up walls and shiat? That's kinda how I feel about sound lately, almost as if all of my senses are attuned to manipulating sound...
Got paid for another surround mix of J.C.'s new movie...whoa. I can now finally afford the missing link in my chain! I want to buy another motorcycle but J. won't allow it...for now. Fuckin' right on, at least she cares. Can't wait to see her this Saturday, she is soooo sweet.
If you know Yosh, you should ask him about his new coffin. I had almost absolutely nothing to do with it(*)
For fuck's sake would you please write your congress-person to tell them they suck for letting assholes spy on us? Or are you waiting for USA Today to tell you in a poll that 'most americans ok spying'? Hey maybe we can monitor Carl Rove's phone calls...that might clear up a lot of bullshit?
Sk3l3t0n_K3y is starting to take shape, it's about gawdamned time. The new Battery Cage album is going to be either really amazing, or amazingly weird, but I can't wait to get it out. I'm already working on the surround DVD remixes, I don't think the rest of the band knows that yet...but wtf, someone has to lean forward into this apocalyptic bleeding edge of sound...
in other news I found out today that I have the next 4 days off! woo-friggin-hoo!!! Where should I go, what should I do?
