Harvest time

This weekend was the beginning of the great pumpkin harvest. We have tried in previous years to grow them but much to Ryan's disappointment, have failed (largely because of going on holiday and there being no-one to water them). This year we succeeded - hurrah! This has been a source of great excitement as they are destined not for the dinner table

I understand 'The Fear' bit and sympathise, most everything else techy is lost on me. I hope your camera is well. I would like to see your pumpkins (oooer;)

We are around a few days this next week if you should be inclined to visit/be visited, it being half-term?
In the meantime I think your fella is friended on flickr so you should be able to see the amazing pumpkins. I even managed to include children and/or cats for scale ;)

Problem aside, I'd be interested in how you find the pentax. It was between pentax and canon when I made the jump. Battery life in particular...
