Happy Mother's Day!
It is fitting that I'm still working on birth announcements today. I'm a mother after all. But I'm putting far too much work into these announcements. They look really good, but it may come across that I'm trying to be a Super Mom, when in reality, I'm not-I just had this idea for the announcements and thought, "that won't be too hard."
I had a great Mother's Day. Yesterday, Jeff took Emma for most of the day, I took Andrew and went shopping for myself (found a great skirt by the way, Kates-thanks for the tip). When I returned home, I saw in our entry way, this great piece of furniture I really wanted a few weeks ago (a dozen roses were on top and my new Jason Mraz CD was in the drawer). At the time, Jeff was like, "yeah, it is great, but we can't afford it." So I just forgot about it. I was so excited that it was now in my home and that he remembered something like that! Very cool.
Today we got KFC and went to the park after church. I got a decent nap in too. That could be the best part of all really.
Better go pump, I'm feeling something...grrrr. Happy Flippin' Mother's Day. : )
