After yet another day of dealing with people's self-loathing in the change-room mirrors, I am struck by how deeply ludicrous it is that anyone should be made to feel embarassed or ashamed about the form their bodies take. That they're embarassed because - OMG! they have a TUMMY!!! Or feel deep shame at the sight of soft, flabby arms. Or visceral disgust at the curve of a hip. It's really just ridiculous. I mean, it would be hillarious if it wasn't so painful.
