Yeah, I see your point, but I don't see it as a grey area because they intentionally based their research on heterosexual studies only because they did not want to promote same sex relationships. To me, it would be like a pharmacy refusing to sell medicine to someone of a certain race, because the drug was not "tested" or "developed" for that race. It's absurd to me ( ... )

That's why everyone should have a PC ;)

But in all honesty, I don't think technology services is a good comparison in this subject, because it doesn't fall under human rights or ethics. If you were to say that they (Netflix)prohibited your patronage based on your race, religion, sex... that would be what we are talking about here.

A bartender has the legal right to refuse service to someone if they believe their patron is over the legal limit (drunk), however, they would get sued if they refused to serve alcohol to someone based on the person's race, religion, sexual preference etc...
