To be fair across the bored, I don't believe a company should be able to refuse business based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age, disability, or sexual preference.
I just think this is intentional exclusion on the part of eHarmony. I disagree with their limited "scientific research", as the basis of their primary reason for not including gays on their site. It is a weak reason too, I might add, considering that they using standard, run-of-the-mill personality tests to base their findings.
Anyways, not that I really even care about online dating, or match making. I suppose I have a bit of a grudge for Focus on the Family -- which is a long story in itself LOL. I just thought the article was interesting and I am curious as to how this will all play out.

But in all honesty, I don't think technology services is a good comparison in this subject, because it doesn't fall under human rights or ethics. If you were to say that they (Netflix)prohibited your patronage based on your race, religion, sex... that would be what we are talking about here.
A bartender has the legal right to refuse service to someone if they believe their patron is over the legal limit (drunk), however, they would get sued if they refused to serve alcohol to someone based on the person's race, religion, sexual preference etc...
