It's been a while, hasn't it.
I'm on spring break now! Actually, I'm writing this post on my phone because my lab and I are going to the Smoky Mountains for the week to camp and look for amphibians. We left at 7:30 this morning. It's a good 11 hour drive, which sucks. There's five us crammed into a relatively small SUV. But we're making due. So far the past four hours haven't been bad.
In other news, I finished the first draft of my thesis proposal. My advisor has it now. Presumably I'll go through about three drafts and then work on forming my committee. I might start working on experiments when I get back from spring break, but we'll see. No definite plans just yet.
School is going well. One of my classes is really difficult, but I've been working hard to stay on top of the material. My other class is really easy, it's still pretty much review from all the other classes I've taken but I'm hoping it gets more interesting later.
I'm hoping to get some good pictures on my trip. If I get some, maybe I'll post some here :)
