the detox is still going well. i extended this first week by two days, because there were two days in the week that i wasnt able to drink the right amount of tea and take the supplements [busy-ness, running around, late for school]. but ive been sticking to the dietary rules perfectly. the biggest challenge is still the amount of food im eating. i feel like im constantly eating, or thinking about when i have to eat something, which is kind of annoying/exhausting.
the biggest changes ive noticed [week 1]:
-easier to wake up in the morning
-more energy through out the day
-weight loss in areas its always been hard to lose weight in [not an intended part of this detox]
-healthier looking skin
-increased sensitivity to caffiene [even the black tea i drink in the morning is becoming too strong]
-increased sensitivity to sweet things [no longer using honey or stevia in tea]
-very emotional [ive got some rough shit happening in my life right now, and i feel like this detox is intensifying these feelings, or at least aiding me in the ease in which i express my emotions]
adjusting to this cleanse has been 10x easier than i thought it would be. cravings have been very minimal. i do need to figure out some foods i can prepare and keep in the fridge for easier meals. im pretty lucky right now in that my schedule allows me some time in the afternoon to make lunch, and fruit is easy to eat through out the morning because it travels well. but in a pinch [running to school, right before work] ive had a hard time making sure im eating enough. i will look through recipe books tonight and try to figure something out.
