Just got back from watching a couple movies with a couple of friends. It's October, so we're watching more horror or Halloween-friendly movies and tonight was John Carpenter's In The Mouth Of Madness and Eli Roth's Cabin Fever, both of which I'd never seen. In The Mouth Of Madness was surprisingly awesome and Lovecraftian. Not an adaptation of a Lovecraft story, but definitely an homage to his writings in general. I was expecting Cabin Fever to be just a gore porn with no real entertainment value outside of the gore, but it was fun and really not that gory. But I've learned enough about Eli Roth that I should have expected that.
Well, it's getting late and I'm trying to keep this good streak of motivation going, so I'm gonna go to bed and hopefully sleep well enough to have plenty of energy tomorrow.
