"Adventurous Neighbor"
This is one of the baby birds that has taken up residence in my rafters this summer. Today he flew for the first time.
He made it to my front door, about five feet from his nest, where he clung to the screen and plopped unceremoniously into my plant below.
From there he made the small jump to my milk box where he posed prettily until bored with me and flew off.
His siblings haven't yet tried it.
