Move update.. and welcome back, non-friends

Welcome, my enemies. I'm reopening my journal as a gift to you, because I know how important it is to everyone to be able to read this. Enjoy.

Last night I took my last lap around Kenmore whilst chatting on my phone for over an hour. I ended it on the steps of my grandparents' front porch, looking down my old street. I left my gloves inside and my hands were starting to get numb, so I did a half-salute at the place I owe my childhood to and tried to sleep on a naked mattress. No blankets, pillows, nothing. It was also freezing. :D That's all that was left of my old room at that point, as I had just packed away everything a couple hours beforehand. It didn't take as long to pack as I thought; my entire closet (minus hoodies, because all of those took up an entire bin :) fit into a big garbage bag, and everything from both of my dressers fit into another. Easy stuff.

The movers came at noon today to take everything to the new place. I got about five hours of sleep last night but was surprisingly not dead. I had absolutely nothing to do whatsoever while the movers were doing their thing, so I went downtown with my mom to sign the papers that would close the house. That made up for my oversight in how long packing would take last night. We were there for a lot longer than planned. Parking was just stupid, and I got temporarily held while my pocket knife got taken from me when I walked through the metal detector. I forgot to take it out after I walked up to Tops a few weeks ago. Woops. The place was lawyer city.. I think we had to talk to three different ones who represented the people whose house we moved into, the bank, and something else. Everyone was closing their house today so we had to wait for everyone to be there before anyone else could do anything. One of the people was 45 minutes late. Then one of their lawyers was 45 minutes late. Then one of the lawyers didn't have some papers that he needed so he had to walk five blocks down to get them and come back. Meanwhile, the movers called my mom and said that they weren't being let into the new house until we had the deed in our hands. Keeping in mind that the movers cost $115 an hour and were held there for two hours doing nothing.. my mom wasn't the happiest, and neither was I because I hate assholes like that. They already had all of their stuff moved (haha, to their $750,000 house) so why were they holding us up? I don't know, because they could. But you know what. When they come back looking for something that they forgot, I'm lighting it on fire in front of their faces and slamming the door on them. With $14,000 wallpaper on their new house, I think they can afford a new version of whatever I destroy.

So after that was finished, about 4pm, my mom and I grabbed some food and headed to the new house to check what the movers did. They piled everything we had into a single room, the family room. Good thing the ceiling is so high because it's completely stacked. And I'm the one who has to sort it out when I go back there in.. nine hours. :p

To add more fuel to the fire (keke), the previous owners of the house had leftover pizza and pizza boxes laying all over the place, the upstairs smells like ass because they haven't bothered cleaning it at all in the past two weeks and it's very obvious to me now that money can't buy class or general decency. It can, however, buy batteries that go in the remote for the garage door, because they took that with them. Stingy Jewish assholes. I hope their temple burns down.

I need a new computer desk because mine was thrown out, so I'm going to be seeking one out tomorrow sometime in the afternoon. As for how I'm writing this, I'm at my grandparents' on dialup, and sleeping here, until I'm able to actually live in the new house. I won't have much to complain about in a few days from now because I do have the second biggest bedroom, which happens to be.. big. Oh, and I get my own bathroom because my mom's room has her own. It also has a jacuzzi but she eventually said I could use it because I kept bugging her about it, haha. So, what else is going on tomorrow.. the place is being cleaned from top to bottom soon after I get there, but not by me. Then I can start moving things into the rooms that they belong in. Eventually I need to paint a few rooms and tear the wallpaper off of others.. which is probably tomorrow as well. Then I'll get lost trying to find someplace for food because I'll be starving, and maybe come back here again depending on how much gets done. I hope I can stay the night tomorrow though, and er, test out my room.

Bedtime for now. Need to be awake at 8. Yar me hearties.
