Waiting, waiting, waiting
Got an email from the Scotland touch rugby squad manager this morning.
Following the trials a fortnight ago, they were going to announce the teams last Wednesday, then they were going to announce them yesterday, and now they're going to announce the open teams on Friday and the senior teams on Sunday.
The funny thing is that when I first got asked to attend the trials, I thought it was funny and didn't really care. But now, having gone to the trials, done the tests etc, I'm beginning to actually get a bit jumpy about it.
Which is weird, seeing as I played so badly in the trial that when the game finished I just presumed I'd missed out. But I saw the squad manager at our touch competition last Wednesday and she was still onto me about my residency. Also, the fact the head selector asked me my age made me think he might have been looking at me for the senior side.
I kind of just want to know either way.
