Five minute post!
Jake and Elwood received a bath today. Elwood took it slightly more in stride because he is three weeks older, and I gave him a quick rinse last week because he smelled sour. However, by the end of bath time -- a lengthy five minutes at most -- both were crying pitifully, as if I'd abandoned them to the Jabberwok. Jake tried with all his might to keep from touching the evil luke-warm water, while Elwood stared at me sorrowfully just as if bath time was the latest in a long line of travails he'd suffered since coming to my home.
