Nostalgia was appeased.
We watched "The Hobbit (1978) Rankin-Bass Productions" last night. I picked it to watch because I had not seen it for a long time. Now I will not need to see it for another length of time. I though animation drawing was decent for its day. But the music was not complimenting the sceens , the woods elves appearance made me think of "a long lost family of grinch", and the appearance of goblins & Gollum seemed to be a tribute to toads and frogs. Over all I enjoyed and was able to appease the longing to see a bit of my childhood.
