Real Estate Agencies SUCK!
Ok, a little pissed off with the whole housing thing. The agency is going to raise the rent by $20 per week and wants to cut the contract down to a 6 month one (assuming so they can raise the rent AGAIN by ANOTHER $20 in 6 months time!!). The very very very annoying thing is that in all reality it costs about $1000 to move. By the time you count removals (have piano, need professionals), cleaners, pest control (yay cat) etc it really doesnt come in much cheaper than that. Particularly with Jeremy having a bad neck means we cannot do it ourselves.
So, $20 per week over 12 months is $1040. So if they actually agree to give us a 12 month contract then we come out even regardless!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! There is no win, there is only lose.
Either way we are out a grand. Unless we can somehow manage to get a place that is cheaper than we are paying for now, which is unlikely given the market. I just want a house goddamnit!.
