Aearlin & Silinde - The Begining - 14

Pick whatever he liked?  "I've never been one to follow the fashions that sometimes shift within our people... and color has never been so important as keeping myself hidden," he admitted in reply, peering at the clothing within the closet from his perch upon Silinde's bed.  "I trust your judgement, though," the confession came a moment after, aqua eyes darting along the different textures of velvets and silks within the wardrobe.  So decadent!  Silinde rarely wore anything more than the simplest of wools and cottons - durability had always been his priority.  Still, to see the items tucked into the wooden frame, Aearlin was tempted.

As Silinde busied himself with changing and redoing braids, Aearlin pondered the decision, then gave the other a somewhat helpless look.  "I will default to your preference, Silinde.  I know nothing of what colors go better than others!" came the reaffirmation, mixed with humor and frustration.  "Dress me as you wish, and I will be content, I promise."  But then mention was made of his hair, and those blue-green irises seemed to flare to life.  He may know nothing of fashion, but goodness, he knew he didn't like the pink in his hair!

"Would you be cutting the pink out?  Or do you know someone who could?"  He was fairly certain Silinde was probably quite handy with scissors or a knife, though he wasn't sure whether or not the other elf would be confident enough to trim his hair.  Still, the idea of getting rid of the pink was thrilling for him!  He carefully stood once more, wincing when the wound clenched at open air between the torn flesh, but it still felt better than before the bath.  "So long as there is something soft that will not pull at my wounds... I will be happy wearing anything.  I trust your judgement."  The affirmation came once more as he shuffled to stand beside the other elf again, his sheet wrapped carefully around him still.  "Will you help me dress?  I fear it will take some time if I put everything on myself..."
