Alright, so I've been watching a lot of Heroes amongst other things, and I have come to realize that sometimes writers don't know when their brothers have a brotherly love, or when they have a "BROTHERLY LOVE". And sometimes they do realize it and make fun of it, but still torture the hell out of the fangirls. So I have come up with this extensive (or at least will be extensive eventually) list called:
You And Your Brother Might Be Borderline Incestuous If...
...you have said the following:
1. "I miss the way your skin feels. It was always so soft."
2. "He's my brother, and I love him. He loves me too," and then later to defend your standpoint, "It's biological, I can't help it. We're connected."
3. "Hold me, Sam."
4. "If he takes care of this city half as well as he takes care of his brother, it's going to be one interesting city."
5. "Place your hand on mine one last time and kiss me goodbye."
6. "I love you" deeply and emotionally before any potentially dangerous event.
7. "Feel that shimmy?" in your brother's ear
8. "You were always everything that was good in the world, Pete."
9. "I don't know who I am without you," and then after he responds to you, you say, "Who's to say I'm not all that because of you?"
10. "No! Please don't! He's my little brother! Please don't take him away from me! I'm begging you!"
11. "Acting like he knows what we do, like he's going to spill our secret."
12. "No, brother, I just got you back, I can't lose you again!"
13. "I know you want to help me. You're my big brother and you fix everything but you can't. You can't fix this one this time."
14. "I don't know what I would've done."
"Don't think about it. I didn't die."
"Yeah, but if you had..."
15. "I don't think of equivalent exchange as a law of the world anymore. I think of it as a promise, between my brother and me, a promise that someday we'll see each other again."

...you have done the following:
1. Stalk your brother out of pure jealousy after he leaves you and is about to marry some dumb bitch, and you're hell bent on murdering her.
2. Touch or hug your brother at random times during perfectly normal conversations. Oh, and by the way, the way you touch him during conversation? You don't even touch your wife that way.
3. Jumped off of a hospital rooftop on your birthday to go after your brother even when you're still injured.
4. Sacrificed an arm and a leg (literally) to bind your brother's soul to a suit of armor so he stays with you.
5. Died to bring him back from the gate.
6. Died twice to bring him back from the gate.
7. Died three times to bring him back from the gate.
8. Refused to believe your brother was dead even when everyone else was telling you that he's dead, because if you believe he's dead, you will fall apart. By the way, you were right. He's not dead. (This has happened with three EDIT: FOUR pairs of brothers that I can think of. It is extremely common XD)
9. Was almost ready to sacrifice the lives of many many people to save your brother/return your brother to normal (has also happened with more than one pair of brothers that I can think of)
10. Keep wearing red socks because your brother told you that if you wore them, you'd always be safe.
11. After losing your memories, someone tells you that to restore them, you have to think of the person that matters most to you in the world, and they ask if you still remember who that person is. You pull out a picture of YOU AND YOUR BROTHER.
12. At a family gathering, you and your brother go all elitist and whisper seductively into each other's ears while your parents make announcements. You also toast to each other. Oh, by the way, your wife is at this same party and you should probably be acting that way with her.
13. On a rooftop, you figure out you can fly, and when you hug your brother, you also press your cheek to his before clinging to him.
14. Sobbed and pleaded for your brother to stay alive as he was dying while his fiancee was also in the room, and you took up all his attention during his death and didn't let her have any.
15. Completely give up on everything you've worked for when you think your brother's dead, because it's not worth anything without him.
16. Travel to a completely different world and leave your old life behind just to live happily with your brother.
17. There are countless pictures of you and your brother whispering to each other, leaning subconsciously towards each other, or staring deeply into each other's eyes.
18. When your brother is unconscious and before you leave his hospital room, you slowly lean over and kiss his jaw slowly before telling him that you meaningfully love him. (Btw, you're only leaving because you can't stand to sit there and watch him "die" anymore. Also, btw, you don't even kiss your wife like that. Or tell her you love her like that.)
19. When a siren shows up, instead of appearing as the girl of your dreams, the siren appears as a younger brother figure.
20. Sold your soul to a crossroads demon for an extra year with him, because you can't stand to live without him. (Sorry, but this is like...A RED FLAG.)
