My Bryce render finished. And it looked gorgeous. However, the software index on my Mac had come up at midnight, and apparently froze the computer. And, naturally, when I tried the workaround it wanted to close Bryce (without saving) and not the software index (which is what was really frozen). Sigh. Bedtime.

I just set up a seven-hour Bryce render, and I have a rat trying to slither down my bosoms.

The artwork should be ready to be seen tomorrow when I wake up, and the rat will go back in her cage as soon as I finish typing this.

I did this in Bryce earlier this year. I'm really proud of it, and have been thinking about turning it into a poster.

Of course, the .gif-type diffraction isn't in the original, but is an artifact of converting it to a web-ready format.

Here's the second Bryce effort. It looks much darker on my PC than on my Mac (Which is to be expected, I guess, except that they share a monitor...what's up with that?)
