And now, the paperwork

Mar 16, 2009 07:37

Pedro is dropping off my official enrollment, and I'm getting together the last bits of paperwork - written recommendations, fingerprinting (though I probably won't have to get this done - I already volunteer in the schoolsystem.) official transcripts, and of course the dreaded standardized tests.

Why this last is the "dreaded" I don't know.  I got out of fully half of the testing, simply because my SAT and ACT scores were within the error bars of perfect scores.  And the half I do have to take covers elementary knowlege.  I took the online prep test and got a perfect score.  I'm planning to lay my hands on another prep test and demolish it.  But still, currently residing in my sock drawer are one dozen brand new Ticonderoga HB #2 pencils, unsharpened, a pink pearl soft eraser, never used, and a pencil sharpener, which I will use the night before the test.  OCD much?

And this morning, I call into the office and let them know that my email was only down for a few hours and we're back in business.
