Bro had a month-long internship out of state this summer, came back for a bit, and is now leaving for college in a week. This meant I got to clear out his computer/gaming corner and turn it into an art/gaming corner. It's gotten quite a bit of use. :3 It feels so wonderful to have a dedicated painting space again.

Welp, Trailbreaker is dead. Pulled his harddrive, which is fortunatly still good so I didn't lose any data, and the rest of him is ready to be recycled. His replacement has been ordered; going with a desktop this time, since I think something with a little more umph will last longer. Our five basil plants went absolutely crazy over the past month, so I tried my hand at making pesto.

...Um. NOM. NOMNOMNOM. I'm not sure what it was, maybe just the fact that the basil was fresh, but that stuff has a kick. NOM

My housemate made Ginger Beer, which is something they apparently drink in west Africa, and is not actually alcoholic. It is, however, very strong- we had to dilute it with a ton of water before we could drink it, and even then you just sip it. It took some getting used to, but it's good.
