I was heavily heavily pregnant when Dr Miller was shot. I read about it and burst into tears - not that I'd ever even heard of the man prior to that news story, but it struck me as horribly tragic. Not only to be shot in church, but to lose that wealth of knowledge and experience.( Read more... )

Hmmm... interesting. I spent 3 days writing an assignment on abortion policy or lack thereof in QLD just before I saw your baby. I'm still pro-choice and I kind of have to be cos of the meds but I was an emotional wreck for the rest of the weekend. After hating the thought of being around kids for a few years now I've decided to further look into the reality of what options I actually have as far as having babies goes, if there are any.
