Structurally, it's a bit odd. The chorus doesn't occur until after the fourth verse, and the drum beat goes from relatively normal to military-esque when the chorus/bridge comes. For the sake of it flowing perhaps more according to the way it's played, read the chorus twice (it's sung twice when listed). I feel pretty good about it, nonetheless.
"Down"
I've got you spinning 'round
In semi-circles
In figure-eights and elliptical patterns
And when I let you down
Neither here, nor there
Please don't break before you hit the ground
(instrumental bridge)
And baby, if you're blue
I'll drag you further
Feeling you's the least that I can do
When I collapse in two
So weak and weary
Hold each half and take it down with you
(chorus)
Oh, you don't know
What you do to my heart
And what I do to you
(instrumental bridge)
(chorus)
Oh, you don't know
What you do to my heart
And what I do to you
We'll speak in tongue-tied fragments
And call it resolution
I'm gonna hold you down
