Midwife Appointment
Well, after all that contraction stuff last weekend, I haven't progressed. I'm 2 cm dialated and 80% effaced. My dad should be in on Saturday evening and my doula has an important photo shoot on Saturday at 5:00. Maybe baby will come on Sunday! I really want to go into labor when Chris is home. I don't want to have to call him at work -- I want it to be a "bonding" moment.
Chris is really excited about the birth. He thinks is going to go beautifully without a hitch. He's really thinking about how to be supportive of me and I'm thrilled for that. I feel like he's really going to keep me grounded and positive.
