sigh.
So, mom's been in Florida for about a week now visiting my brother. Oh, I don't know if I said, but he moved to Florida. I suppose you could have gathered that much anyway. This week would have been completely devoid of human contact were it not for frequent phone calls with this girl I have this crush on. Oh, she has a crush on me too. All in all, I'm pretty happy with it.
About a month ago, my left thumb started itching right where it meets the hand. Then a bump formed. Now the bump has left a scar, but what do I care? Just another one for the collection. Now, however, I'm getting a similar situation on my right pinky. I have a doctor's appointment in Manassas on Friday for it, plus a few other things. All in all, I'm pretty unhappy with it.
I haven't had a Carolina-related sadness relapse in about two months now. I go days without thinking about her, and when she does pop up, it's always unpleasant. I'd say the Carolina chapter in The Book of Peter is officially closed. Then again, it was only a three month thing. I guess that's more footnote-worthy. All in all, I'm pretty happy with that.
I had previously thought that I was finished moving gravel from the front yard to the back. Then we cut down some shrubs. Under said shrubs, there's more gravel than all the other gravel I moved put together. We don't have room for it all, so I think dad is planning on having someone come out and haul it away. The whole "manual labor" situation sucks pretty hard, but dad did pay for my semester a few days ago, as promised. All in all, I guess it evens out.
I'm going to try to start updating this more often. Well, with things that aren't stupid links.
Oh, I found my Simon & Garfunkel Old Friends box set the other day, which has been missing for months.
