A casual glance through my photo collection will indicate I have this thing for taking photos of the sky. The weather fascinates me like few things because it is so beyond our control, and yet impacts so much of what we do.

The Official Star Wars Blog is running an article about a toy that translates brainwaves to Force powers.

Apparently, it uses a headset that will interpret some signal from your brain into movement of a ball within a transparent tube. Whatever the underlying science, it sounds like a lot of fun.

Some nifty British people are making rings grown from DNA from bone fragments and exchanging them as tokens love. I find it cute and somewhat endearing, but given the price ("it would cost about $11,700 to produce each ring"), and the process ("they must submit to the removal of wisdom teeth and the extraction of a fragment of jawbone" - talk about ( Read more... )
