Daedalist.com seems to be back up (fingers crossed). After a whole week of outage, I am unimpressed, but there are other people even more PO'd than me about it. At least I'm not using the site to make money. Still, if this sorta thing happens again, I'm definitely moving hosts. Maybe to an Australian company so I can abuse them on the phone should trouble occur.

Yesterday, had a bunch of people over for a BBQ. Was a lot of fun, and divaflip finally managed to succeed on a pavlova-making attempt (our oven is crap).

This morning, I finally finished Order of the Phoenix, so I'm finally able to start on Half-Blood Prince. I had only read OotP once before (when it came out), so re-reading it was a rediscovery. I'm interested to see where HBP will go.

Got 3 job apps off this afternoon. Two for the same position (it's not my fault if the recruiter advertises multiple times, each reference number counts as a different contact for centrelink purposes) at Teletech's Pennant Hills office, and one for a journalism cadetship. Either would make me happy.

I now have just under an hour to get some material for Carpe Diem, which should be fine. Perhaps a Quiz, and a "Top 10" list or something. In the meantime, make sure you're listening to 88.9FM (Sydney) from 7-9pm tonight!
